Who is Tahn?
Tahn is me, Tahnee. I’m a visual artist and maker based in Australia, and Tahn is both a nickname and the heart behind my creative work. I started Tahn Made as a way to bring my hand-crafted, hand-painted, and hand-built ideas to life. Everything I create is deeply personal, inspired by storytelling, culture, emotion, and a little bit of the macabre. Tahn is who I am when I’m fully immersed in the art world.
Why did you start Tahn Made?
I started Tahn Made in 2024 as a way to share my art with others and carve out space for the kind of creative expression that feels most true to me. I wanted to build something by hand, from scratch, something that reflects my love for detail, mood, and meaning. Tahn Made isn’t just a business, it’s a reflection of my process, my passions, and my purpose.
What made you become an artist?
I don’t really remember a time when I wasn’t making something, drawing, painting, building, or dreaming. Art has always been a way for me to process the world, to tell stories, and to explore identity. Becoming an artist felt inevitable, like following a thread that’s always been there. It’s where I feel most at home and most myself.
Where will Tahn Made go next?
Tahn Made is always evolving. I see it growing into a space for bigger, bolder works, maybe installations, exhibitions, or collaborations with other artists and makers. I’d love to continue pushing boundaries, sharing stories, and reaching new audiences while staying grounded in the handmade, heartfelt ethos that started it.
